Know exactly where your business stands — every month.
DSW Bookkeeping keeps the books for small businesses, trades and sole proprietors. Your accounts get reconciled every month, so you are not guessing at your numbers and not handing your accountant a shoebox in April.
- Reconciled monthly, not once a year
- Flat rate quoted before any work starts
- Your accountant gets clean books at year-end
Tell us what you're running and we'll come back with a flat quote.
What actually gets done
Bookkeeping is unglamorous and it is supposed to be. Here is the work that happens on your file, and how often.
No hidden fees, and no meter running
The complaint we hear most about bookkeepers is the invoice nobody saw coming. So here is how billing works, in plain terms.
A flat monthly rate
Quoted up front once we have seen the volume of your accounts, and it does not change unless your scope changes — in which case we requote first.
Questions are not billable
Calling to ask what something means does not turn into a line item. If you are afraid to ask your bookkeeper a question, you have the wrong bookkeeper.
Behind? Priced separately
Catch-up work on prior months is quoted on its own, so it never gets buried inside your ongoing monthly rate.
Leave whenever
No lock-in. If you go elsewhere, your files and records are exported and handed over — they are yours.
Who this is for
Three steps to hand it over
A conversation
You tell us what you run, roughly how many transactions a month, and how far behind you are — honestly. Nothing here is a surprise to a bookkeeper.
A written quote
A flat monthly rate and a written list of exactly which work is included. Catch-up work, if you need it, is quoted as its own line.
We take it from there
You get read-only access set up, hand over statements and receipts, and from then on your statements arrive every month.
Stop guessing at your numbers.
Tell us what shape your books are in. No judgement — behind is the normal starting point.
